The Methadones formed in 1993 in Chicago, Il by Dan "Vapid" Schafer. Vapid is known for being part of Screeching Weasel, Riverdales, and Noise By Numbers. The Methadones are known for the straight forward, energetic pop punk. In 2010 they released their final record, S/T, on Solidarity Recordings/Asian Man Records, and played their final show in Chicago in November. Members:
